What Turbo Systems Are Out There For My ls1?

What companies are making systems for the ls1 cars and who makes the best and worst kits........... In your opinion of course.

I'm trying to make up my mind on what system to get but not sure I have looked at everything out there.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Check out LS1Motorsports. Its a local shop here and Rob (the owner) is making making 775 rwhp & 865 rwtq with thier single turbo kit on an otherwise stock 125k mile ls1.

I hear he only installs his system now and doesn't sell it outright an its very pricey.Turbo technology inc sells kits for 4700 and 5000 bucks.I think I might just get one of those next year. Was thinking twin kit but incon and charged air I think both are out of business or charged air is supposed to be very unreliable.

I think 5000 US is a lot for a kit but turbos are better than most other power adders if set up right.

Oh yeah their is the sts kit for only like 3500 bucks. Its rear mounted and supposed to work good and be super easy to install.Just not sure I like how its mounted or how it might sound as it basically takes the place of your catback.

If you need any info on the sts kit let me know. Have been tuning an LS1 STS and numbers should be up soon.

Granted I haven't talked to him in a while, but if you look at the ls1 trurbo kit on his site it doesn't say that they must do the install. Give them a call and see, it cant hurt.

ProTurbo will also be making a single kit for the LS1's. Price will be $4500 with fuel components.

Ding ding ding!!

If it were me getting a pre-made kit, Rob would be who I'd go with.
