Whats the best headgasket for a boosted car?

Hey guys,

I gotta change my headgaskets in my car. I'm running 16psi of boost on low compression 383 with a d1sc/fmic. Want to see what would be my best bet on a new set of gaskets. The fuse blew for my fans and I didnt realize how hot it was and she poped a head gasket.. Sucks....

Also what other fan set-ups work for our cars with superchargers on the? Their is absolutely no room with the stocker in their....

thanks
john

Personally, I follow the logic that the head gasket is there to act as a safefy valve for much more expensive parts.

Stick with the FelPro's...

I believe I am also using the Felpro's on my car which is quite similar to yours, and haven't had a single problem yet.

(383 LT1, 8.8:1 CR, 15#'s of boost from a D1SC, FMIC)

I sprayed mine with some Hylomar to make sure they wouldn't leak.
