Hmmm I think i might like that You installed yours on the pressure
side by the Intercooler right ?

I have the ATI Twin High Flows and mounted the BOV after the intercoolers so that the turbo is blowing air through them all the time. Heat is only generated when air is being pressurized, so hopefully the non-pressurized airflow is helping to cool the intercoolers when not in boost.

I mounted mine before the intercooler simply for space reasons. However, I have noticed that the bypass air gets very hot when idling for long periods. I think this is due to the head unit getting hot in the engine compartment. I would rather vent that hot air instead of sending it through the intercooler.

you said "bypass", meaning you re-circulate that air? If so, then yea. I wouldn't run that through the intercooler. Venting to atmosphere shouldn't get hotter the longer it sits...

So mount the bypass before intercooler (pressure side)
and BOV after intercooler (pressure side) ??? Thanks

I should have been more clear. I vent to atmosphere. My Mondo is after the supercharger but before the intercooler. If the car sits at idle I can feel the venting air get warmer the longer the car sits. I think it is because the supercharger gets heat soaked.

I believe the turbo will always be heat-soaked.

Also, I have the twin high flows... If I had a FMIC, the moving air would cool it a whole lot better.

Honestly, I don't think it matters one way or the other unless it's a bypass setup where you recirculate the air, in which case, i would keep the circulating air out of the intercooler.

Ya, I don't think it is a significant difference either way.
