Where are you guys mounting your gauges at?

Where are you guys mounting your gauges at?

i dont like the pillar pod and was wondering if anybody else is mounting them in a diffrent place, give me some ideas, im geting 4 gauges BTW

If this is for the 01 SS, I've seen 4 gauges mounted in place of the center air vents. Also, you can usually stuff one in the cubby hole of the newer-style console. I've also seen one in the cupholder of the console if needed.

no its for my 96z, so i cant do the vent install, like i said im getting 4 gauges and would like them to be together if possible

You could buy a piece of plastic and cut four holes in it for the gauges and place that in the cd holder in the console. Of course this is if the '96+ cars have this holder?

yes thats what i was thinking about doing, i thought somebody made those covers for the cd holder, that would be a great place to bunch all these gauges together

I thought someone used to make them too, but I think they might have discontinued them.

I know RKSport used to have them, but perhaps not anymore.

..yeah..the guy that made them for RK sport stopped making them because they didnt sell well...

I have made my own with some black plastic and some pop rivits.......I like it...however I only did it for three gauges not four..
