Who is using tr6 plugs, and what gap?

Currently, I have tr55 gapped at .040. Never had any problems NA, but with SC now (boost here and there), i'm getting a small miss at low rpms. I'm thinking its a little too hot of a plug for the application. Going to pull plugs next weekend and run compression test and i figure i'll put new plugs, ngk tr6, in as well. Car getting a little hotter than usual lately too, but its still mid 90s outside. Hope its not a head gasket. Also, i have LTCC if that matters or not.

Thanks,
James

I've had good luck with Autolite 104's. I don't like the NGK screw on tops. Are you running a CD style ignition box? If not I would look into adding a MSD or Accel ignition setup to your system.

I don't think NGK has screw on tops anymore. Think that went away a year or two ago didn't it?

Either way. TR6 at .020 here. I have run the next step colder which is like a br7something.

Im using tr6's gapped to .028. Ive heard lg. amounts of boost or nitrous call for the next colder range to be safe. Im planning on boost and nitrous so I think im going to run the br7's on the 383

The 7s fouled out on me pretty quick but I wasn't beating on it yet so.... Probably depends on driving.
