I traded a guy a 52 t/b for a 58 holy t/b. when I put it on the throttle plates will not fully open, due to the cable is too long. it was fine on the 52 but after this 58 install the cable seems to be a inch to 1 1/2 too long. on a 95 firebird the cable is not ajustable. is there a different throttle cable different i can get? was wandering if the ls1 cables are adjustable and if they will fit a 95.

I see the cable for a ASR unit is adjustable. I do not have it so any ideas. May have to make spacers for yjr cable inside near pedal. Anyone got any good ideas?

My 58mm Holley fit perfectly, with no adjustment of the throttle cable. If you have 1" to 1.5" too much cable length, almost sounds like the throttle shaft quadrent (the part the button on the cable fits into) is not positioned correctly.

 

it is weard the bouton on the petel is perfict and so is whar it mounts to the intake. i had a new one from gm and instaled it this week and the same problum. the 52 i had worked fin it was a bbk. the gy befor me had the same problum . hers his old link

he sead he got it to work with his asr cabel ejusting it. but he had to shorten it to its max.i dont know if i beleve him do to he he traded it to me a very short time later.and i se his link to now war he had this problum. its like they mad the cabel holder on the t/b to small and also my cabel all most slipes out of the slot in theholder like it is mad for a biger led end. is the asr cabel a straight cabel to the petel to the t/b.do they all have the quick ejusters on them .if so wat yers do you know are like this mabe i can return the new one for the asr cabel.

but it lockes like yours.cant relly see the brackit.i have 2 brackets both from 95 t/a and firebird. both lock the same
