This is what I have, A 96 camaro z28 5.8LT1. I can start the car, after it warms up , and i stop somewhere and turn it off, it wont start again.
It sounds like it isnt getting gas or spark. what can it be?

 

possible fuel pump issue, maybe plugged fuel filter.. after it warms up is what is crazy... hhmm

 

may be the coil????? or no

 

I am having a similar problem with my 96. After I stop and try and restart the vehicle it will not start unless I hold the accelerator to the floor. Have you figured it out yet?

 

Holding the accel pedal to the floor puts the PCM in "clear flood" mode. Could be a problem with leaking injector(s), or possibly a coolant temp sensor that isn't correctly telling the PCM the engine is warmed up and doesn't need the enriched cold start.
