wierd starting troubles

wierd starting troubles
So if you hold the key in the start position and let it crank over it wont start!
But, if you barely let it go into the start position for a second then it will start!!
WTF?

Its a ghost / gremlins!

On a different car, we have to take off a plug from the coil in order to get it to start...
