1994 firebird formula, headlights wont come up with switch

I have a 1994 firebird formula and the headlights wont come up when i turn the switch on. Now i have checked the motors directly to the battery and they work, and i can turn them up and down manually. I have checked the fuses both are good. im just stumped and need someone to help me figure out what the problem is. Ive already thought of the headlight switch but are there any relays, or anything else that could be bad before i fork out the money for a switch?

This can result from problems with the gears, low battery voltage, a problem with the headlight controller module, etc. This problem is usually covered on "General F-Body Tech & Info", not on LT1/LT4 Engine Tech.

I'll move the post for you......

I had the same problem and it was the control module i had to get one out of the junk yard. GM list one for 98 and up and i dont know if it would work on the earlier cars and the dealer said they couldnt take it back if it didnt. The module is on the under the hood on the drivers side right under the relays. I hope this helps

thanks man i pulled the module and took it apart, and sure enough there it was water had leaked in and fried the circuit board.
