2000 Base Firebird 3.8 v6 SES cold p0306 PLEASE Help!!!
I've recently purchased this vehicle and have been doing maintenance to it for a couple weeks now but I cannot get this code to disappear. I've replaced the coil packs, the spark plugs and wires, the fuel filter, the oil and air filter and other things and it still won't go away. Is there anything else I can do? I do not want to put it in the shop, but it's looking like I might just have to. Recently the SES light has started to flash and then go away for a little while just to appear again later, and it's a little harder to start than I'd imagine it should be, and the car seems to idle pretty bad. It feels like it's rhythmically shaking when it idles now even when the light isn't on. ANY help or insight would be so appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Try swapping #6 fuel injector with another cylinder, and see if the code follows the #6 injector. While you have the fuel rail off, pressure the fuel system by turning the key to "run" (not to "start") and see if the injector is dripping.
Do a compression check.
Check the valve adjustment.
Have the ignition control module checked.
