350 with a 305 computer

Will a 350 run with a 305's computer and chip?

I assume it would hurt the performanace alot, but will it be driveable?

Thanks

From what I've been able to tell from those who say they have done it, the '85 MAF TPI is fairly forgiving with regard to displacement change as long as you don't go nuts on the cam overlap. An adjustable fuel pressure regulator, maybe 22 lb injectors, and 350 knock sensor & module will be all that's required to swap a 350 under the TPI.

If you want to tweak the PROM tables, that's where you'll run into trouble. The '86-'89 MAF ECM was more capable there. And, for all-out best power, convert to speed density and tweak the PROM.
