does anybody know specifically why a 3rd gen "feels" better than a 4th gen in the handling dept.?
my rs can in no way outhandle my z28 but the rs genuinely feels a lot better going around a corner and "wants" to do it, whereas the z28 feels like it wants to stay in a straight line a 100% of the time
is it due to the 3rd having struts and the 4th with the sla suspension?
not much else really changed right?
also, another question...can you make an sla actually want to handle like the struts if that's the case?

 

I don't know why, but my 1985 IROC-Z definitely feels like it will out corner my 1995 Z28, and the IROC has crappy tires to the newer tires on the 95. I am not sure why they are so different.

 

my ex used to have a 92 RS, the suspension is just a little stiffer and tighter I think.

 

I had an 89 formula and now a 01 ws6 and the new one feels and drives better than my 89 did, i did have new tires and shocks on my 89 also.
