Re: 89 20th Ann. Indy Pace car with 11 miles, WIW??
considering they only made them in 89 and 1,555 were made. then there are the festval and pace models which net more than the standard TTA. if its a hard top then its worth more than the standard TTA as the majority of them were T-tops.
if you wind up deciding to keep it chances are being its a 14 yr old car the umbrella seals will need to be replaced, wipers, vac lines, fuel filter, front and rear main seals and so on as another poster mentioned. $8,000 is a superb price for it. the avg TTA starts around $10,000 and usually goes for $15,000. i have seen pace models go for $25,000.
me personally, i would replace the needed stuff, give it a tune up and drive the thing!! ya only live once and ya cant take it with ya so use it what it was designed for TO DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personaly know a guy who buys and sells very low milage cars like what you have. He does it for pure profet. I get to look at 10-15 year old cars that still have stickers covers etc. on them They all have run like the day they left the show room. Tires looked brand new. So as far as changing all the belts hoses etc. I wouldn't worry about doing any of that. I mean they are factory stuff.(you don't want people to think you have had to work on a car with 11 miles.)
P.S. if the battery is dead and won't charge keep the factory one with the car. And don't even drive it home. Unless you live within 5 miles.

Thats pretty cool. On a similar note, Buckalew Chevy in Conroe Tx has a 1982 Camaro Z28 Indy pace car on the showroom floor with only a few miles on it as well. As the story goes, at least from its delivery to that dealer, that it has only been driven on that lot. Like your car it still has the window sticker, paper floor mats ect.

WOW, that is incredible.
I always enjoy looking at those survirors with 20 miles on them at the car show, but I could never own one myself. I'm way too uptight to own a car like that, I'd be awake at night worrying about if I breathed on it the wrong way. And I'd be way too tempted to drive such a hot car like that
Also, I'd say you did real good on the money factor too.
