94 Headlight light problem

I have replaced both headlights within the last year, yesterday while driving home, the passanger side went out. This morning, the drivers side blew as well. I don't have a problem with any other lights in the car. High beams, fog lights, parking lights all work as normal. The wiring has never been modified or spiced into.

I'm looking for some ideas for what to look for to fix this problem.

Also, where is the relay located and any fuses for the headlights cause I can't find them and they are not in the I/P or relay box under the hood.

Thanks.

Shoebox has a wiring diagram for a 95. Might be similar to your 94:

Re: 94 Headlight light problem

Most common cause is corrosion in the head light socket and/or faulty grounds.

Re: 94 Headlight light problem

I have had similiar problems.I, now instead of replacing the whole headlight i buy a 9006 bulb(around $8.00).This seems to work well & unless the glass is broken a lot cheaper. The h/l up here are $49 ea.@most auto parts stores.Btw that reply of checking for corrision is much appreciated.

Re: 94 Headlight light problem

Thanks for the replys. I checked the sockets and both are fine and have power. I replaced the bulbs with the 9006 silver stars which was less the the original equipment. All is working again.

Cheers.
