97 Camaro RS negative battery terminal ground location
So I decided to replace my ac compressor, drier and everything AC related, I removed the bolts and to my surprise I found the battery negative terminal that should have been ground is just sitting there which I think will resolve a lot of my electrical issues once I re-attach it but the only issue is that I don't know where it was grounded/connected since it was just hanging there. I don't even wanna know how it was getting grounded. So can someone please tell me the location where the negative terminal should be grounded to the engine block. I would very much appreciate it if you can perhaps add a picture. And if you have any idea what size bolt is used. I found 3 locations on the engine block where I can attach it but don't want to hook it up at the wrong place and then have my car catch on car or worse not start at all lol.
Btw it's 1997 Camaro RS, V6, 3.8L, 3800Series.
Again thanks for your help in advance!!!

Download the free 98 (close enough) service manual here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/kdhmgj9z87zzpyb/1998-SvcMan_complete.pdf
and look at page 8-408
It's called G100 and it looks to be just above ac compressor.

The neg. bat. cable attaches to the engine block, on a stud that is below the A/C comp. and forward of the right engine mount. Need to get at it from the bottom.

Im thinking the one on top left??? Both are behind the AC compressor but the one on top left will give more clearance. Any idea guys???

Thank you very much. That was actually perfect.
I have a couple of more questions, which way does the orifice tube gets put in? Does the head part not the long stem part of it goes in the detachable hose or the one coming out of the wall?
Also when running vacuum pump should I do it with compressor connected or otherwise.
I already filled the compressor with correct amount of oil, how do I add pad oil to the drier??
Thank you

Just went thru a 5 day nightmare with my 93 Firebird Formula Lt1. Car was cranking fine, stopped to get gas, nothing but a single click each turn of the key. Tried to jump it, one click per turn. Replaced the starter because it had been heat soaking back in the summer. One click per turn still. Double checked wires hooked to starter. power at starter large post always, power to purple wire only when key turned. One click per turn. Started checking connections, cleaned batt terminals, etc. Still one click per turn. About to quit for day, noticed ground wire on top of radiator support in front of battery close to rad cap llooked dirty. Cleaned it up, said crank it again for the heck of it, it CRANKED! Downloaded fact serv manual, Couldn't figure exactly which circuits grounded to this spot (G-105 in serv man) but most diagnostics in serv man said to be sure G-105 was clean. Other ground on top of rad support on driver side is G-106. That ground also mentioned to be clean in many diagnostics in serv man. Worth a try!
