97+ Fuse Panel Cover

This may seem like a stupid question, but what is supposed to hold the fuse box cover on from falling off? On the bottom, there is a cheap piece of plastic velcro-like mesh and on the top it's just wedged between the dash and the door seal.

Everytime I close the door, the thing falls out. I mean, I have no problems coming up with something to hold it on; but what was supposed to hold it from the factory?

Please tell me it's not just that little piece of wanna-be velcro?

Thanks,

Chris

Convinient time to ask, I just had mine on, and off, and on, and off again about an hour ago (see 1 post down. )

Either way, mine has the velcro, but it doens't velcro TO anything... I put the top little wedges in, push on the bottom, and it just pops into place...I say put another piece of the opposite velcro on yours, that should easily do it.

Oh, there's wedges on the top? Mine must have broken off. I was wondering what held the top of the cover. Thanks for the reply.

The tiny dab of velcro holds mine on.

There is the strip of velcro and it also has two teeth that secure it in as well. I had to replace mine because the two teeth were broken off and it kept falling off.
