97' T/A Headlight ?
Hey guys,
I am sorry if this seems repetitive or a dumb question, but I searched and searched and thought I found the answers to my questions, but I found out tonight that I did not. I have a burnt out Headlight, and I searched to see what size bulbs etc are used in the T/A's. I bought the Nokya 9006 Stage II 100W (read alot of good things about them along with Sylvania). I went to install them when I found out that my housing is a sealed unit. Do I have to buy a replacement unit with the bulb already in it? or do they sell a none-sealed unit where these size bulbs would fit? (9006) Thanks for your help!

You need to buy a whole new sealed beam unit. They all pretty much suck, I use the sylvania "cool blue" I think they is a way to open the headlight to install a different bulb but its not worth the hassle.

Just goto the autoparts store and they should have a headlight book, look up your car and it will tell you the part number for each brand. Measurements won't help since the back of the bulb has a plug on it and if that doesn't fit then it won't work.

Hmmmm....my local AutoZone only has these things in yellow and black boxes with mostly Spanish printed all over it. I'd like to replace my bulbs since mine are actually rusting on the inside but I don't want to stick some crappy dim originals in there.
