Did you check our Supporting Vendor Index?

Why did you rule out a Formula?

There are photo threads on the "Appearance" and "Wheels and Tires" forums. Brent Franker's site has pages of photos of wheels, hoods, paint, etc. for both Camaro and Firebird.

No moving it from LT1 Tech?

Buy whichever you prefer, everyone has their own preferences. As earlier stated, there's a bunch of pictures in the appearance section.

Here's my '97 Z28 that I sold for my '97 SS.

Don't panic... we have it under control.

I was hoping it would get a bit more "engine" oriented, but it didn't so it will be moved. Hope that meets with your approval.

what is the diff from a trans am and formula, firehawk etc is there somewhere i can find out if its worth the extra money to get either one instead.

Yeah i have already looked on bfrankers website its just old photos and not the best quality. Actually bfranker is from where i grew up in florida and ive seen his 94z28 and ss back in the day and they are both nice cars. Im in cali now so dont see much of his cars anymore

The Firebird came in 3 trim levels:

Base Firebird V6

Formula V8 about the same as the Z28

Trans Am V8 same powertrain as the Formula, but has more visual effects

The Firehawk was a SLP modified car. Buy one if you find one in good shape for the right price.

I bought my 97 TA after I wrecked my 96 Camaro. I like them both, but I think the TA looks better. Buy whichever you like more, but here's my 97 TA.

If you don't care, when let the "DEAL" deside! Get the most car for your money.

The Formula was the V6 body with the TransAm drivetrain. I prefered the Formula b/c it did not have all the extra plastic crud to fall off. Between the Firebird and the Camaro I prefer the Pontiac interior, just looks classier to me.
But you will probably find the Camaro cheaper b/c they made more of them.
The most rare is the Formula Firehawk, they made a ton more in the T/A trim.

If you are sure you want a 97, I'd go with the Z28. It's the 30th Anneversary year and will hold more value down the road. Here's my Camaros...
