Question 98 Digital Odometer Swap In! help??

i just bought a gauge cluster with a digital odometer from a 98 T/A to swap into my 96 Formula...my car currently has an analog odometer. When i pulled out my original gauge cluster to replace it with the 98 cluster, everything went fine with the swap except with the 98 cluster, the TCS light stayed on which i expected since i dont have traction control, the rpm gauge read about 800rpms too high, and the fuel gauge didnt move (read my tank as empty when it was full)...any idea on how to fix this problem as i would like to swap the digital back into my car soon...

I'm not positive, but I don't think you can make it work the tach is always going to be off, and I'm not sure about the gas gauge. I think you needed a 97 digital cluster for it to work right.

LS1 gauges will not work in LT1 vehicles. The tach won't work right because the LT1 PCM puts out twice as many pulses as a LS1 PCM and the fuel gauge won't work because the the resistance range on the LT1 fuel gauge is 0-90 ohms and it's 70-240 ohms on a LS1 fuel gauge.
