i posted a tread earlier in the week stating , i just got into and car accident , the front end was smashed up no frame damage , the airbags did deploy, but now my questions is do i restore the car with all brand new original parts from gm that gonna cost a arm and a leg or should i get aftermarket parts ?? need advice thanks

 

Well..If you plan on keeping the car for 20 more years for investment purposes..go with gm parts.

 

i honestly wanted to start saving for the 5th gen but this accident happen and i really dont wanna just get rid of this car like that

 

just go with GM parts. But, you don't have to buy new from dealer. Go to auto salvage business and get parts from another car. You can get a whole new front end from an f-body that was rear ended for much cheaper than buying all new parts from GM. Hell maybe you will get lucky and get same color car so when you repaint outer panels the inner parts will not look out of place. Such as red fenders on black car. Good luck with whatever you do.
