Exclamation ABS/ASR Problem!!

Hey guys i have a question. I have a 96 z28 and i hit some kind of pot hole. The car hit really hard but was going only about 20. It was night time. I continued to drive and the car started to buck, the abs was messed up. Some warning lights came on "ABS INOP" and "ASR OFF" What happened? how can i fix it? is it gonna be expensive? im so lost. Thanks!

Re: ABS/ASR Problem!!

Could be as simple as a loose harness connector on a wheel sensor.... might be worth checking the connections, making sure they are clean and tight.

Re: ABS/ASR Problem!!

abs inop just means that you won't have abs in adverse situations. Probably a wheel sensor or something electrical...if you can't afford the repair just go with the light on...it doesn't affect performance

Re: ABS/ASR Problem!!

thanks for the help. Im gonna put the car up on a ramp and take a look. The sensors would just be behind the wheel right? is there a lot i would have to take off? and that rattling could just be the harness too?
