I have two ABS codes on my 1996 Camaro Z28 that appeared after the rebuilt engine was installed -- B1276 and B1278. It's a left and right ABS issue, something to the effect of a ground short. It's not fuse or hub related, so I'm just wondering where I should be looking for this ground wire so I can make sure it has a good connection. Or, if anyone else has experienced this, what I should be looking for or at.

Best bet would be to download (free) the 1996 factory service manual. Detailed wiring diagrams, component locations, code explanations and troubleshooting logic diagrams in the ABS section (or ABS+ASR with optional traction control).

Funny... I actually have the physical 1996 FSM. It used to be that when you did National SCCA level stuff, you were expected to have the FSM in the event you were protested. I didn't think to look there for the codes and such.
