Alpine UTE-73BT Bluetooth stereo for a 95 Z28?
My cars radio is going out and I’m ready to have a legit Bluetooth connection instead of the cigarette lighter one. I currently have Alpine UTE-73BT sitting in my cart along with the wiring adapter and the mounting hardware, but I figure it’s best to make sure before I go ahead and order it.
Does anyone have this installed on their gen 4? if so do you like it?
are there better options around the same price? (≈ $150-$200)

I don't have that head unit, and have yet to upgrade the stocker in my car. That said, some thoughts:
I really like Alpine products in general. I've had a few of their head units in the past and have always been happy. I plan to get one of their CarPlay head units eventually.
That head unit in particular is very highly rated at Crutchfield, so I think it's a good choice given your budget.
Does your '95 have the factory upgrade (Monsoon or Bose) audio system? I can't remember what years they were available. Regardless: you might have a setup where there's an amplifier under the passenger seat. From what I've heard, these don't play super nice with aftermarket head units, as the signal levels are different. Likewise, the speakers are nonstandard and designed to work only with that amp. If you upgrade the head unit, you may also want to rewire the speakers to bypass the factory amp, and then probably also replace the speakers. I'm not an expert on this topic; so far I only know enough to be wary of replacing just one part of the system. There are tons of old threads here and on LS1tech where people have discussed the various concerns at length; I recommend you do some searching and reading before you buy anything.
