a buddy of mine needs a passenger side quarter panel for a 1990 Camaro. is there a company out there that sells them. he can only find the outer skins for half of a quarter. where do we look? thanks

its not that easy to find a nice quarter panel in the junk yard, and then to remove it without destroying it.

 

I tried a couple places, ecklerscamaro and tacreationsusa but couldn't find one for that year. I'll look around again tomorrow.

 

Tellin ya right now, its going to be tough. Don't even waste your time trying to find one new or reproduction. When I was looking for them, I read of some guy in Alaska or some crap like that trying to get 1K a quarter!! Also, don't bother with just the skins. Waste of time and money.

Your best bet is trying to find a car someone is parting out. Expect it to have some rust/rot and need some work but find someting that can be fixed. If you have a guy that does your body work, try to take him along and tell him if it can be fixed.

Also, make sure the guy cuts it as much past the bend in the roof as possible. You or your body guy can always cut it down.
