The horn on my 82 olds sounds like a tug boat/train. I want to put it on my camaro.

Edit: There isn't a train horn simulator or whatever in which you don't have to go all out and get a compressor and work at a railroad to obtain one in the first place
a simulator is not the same thing..... they use alot of air.... and it would be cool to not hear my engine becuase of a horn

anyways i like when i have the roof off and i can get out and yelll at people

Re: Anyone know where i can get a REALLY LOUD HORN?

im mounting a mack truck horn on my PU, a train horn? dang, thats a little too much, i can see people fliping out and waisting themselfes.

im thinking an air tank with a valve/stem like a car tire, just fill it like that whenever necessary. as for the min 110lbs, you can get a power tank like they use in offroading, that thing gets charged to 2000? psi, it'll lest you a while.

no horn for months? not a chance, not here, people "sleeping" at the traffic lights and all them bafoons doing 30 in 45 side by side.

Well, let us know how that turns out either way. I'd want to buy a set up as ridiculous as that sounds. So long as it's not used in dangerous situations (like when another car is on the road ) it should be all in fun.

Re: Anyone know where i can get a REALLY LOUD HORN?

I might be able to score one off a firetruck, I used to have one in my 81 Z. It was almost painful to use it. When we give Staion tours our department policies prohibit sounding the horn if anyone is within 50 ft of the front of the truck.

Re: Anyone know where i can get a REALLY LOUD HORN?

lol...I guess it doesn't bother me because it sounds a lotbetter than the horn in my Cavy. That and I've used the horn like 3 times since I've owned the car. One to actually honk at a person, and the other two were when I saw someone I knew. I've owned the car for over a year now.
