So let's start off by saying who would think such an easy problem would be this confusing. I was driving today and here is a list of problems. 1) left brake light will not work. 2) blinker in front left stays on along with arrow on dash. 3) clicking noise works on the right signal but not left.

The reverse light still works

I figured I burnt a bulb but I see no signs of it. Even so why would that affect the blinker?

i had almost the same problem but mine was the right side my
dash blinker would stay on i needed ground hope info works for you

 

does the rear left blinker act the same? or does it not light at all?

 

well i got it after about 4 hours of scratching my head... brake light bulb had came untwisted or glass and metal connecter seperated and they ran in a circuit... blinkers started working fine again..
