I was on my way to work and tried to use my blinkers and the damn dash light would just stay lit up and wouldn't blink. It does that for both sides. When I got to work I checked to see if the actual blinkers were working, nada, they just stay lit up also.

What are some quick checks I can do while I am at work?

 

Try your four ways. If they dont work, it's probably the relay. Check fuses and bulbs. The relay should be in under where your fuses are. It's a round type relay.

 

I just checked and my fourways work fine. I tried my blinkers with and without headlights and they just stay solid either way.

 

Its the bulb.

 

It was the flasher. I just got back from O'reilys and replaced it and the blinkers work fine now. Thanks for the help guys.

 

When one does it, its the bulb, because they are dual element bulbs and the four ways can work while the turn signal won't. If they both do it at the same time, it'd be what you found, the flasher.

 

you have a lightbulb out, turn on the signal and walk around the car ansd see which one isnt lit, you can check teh other side of the car if your not sure how many/where all teh bulbs are.
