Blown Blinker

I know this has been discussed before but, there was never really any outcome to the question..
My drivers side blinker keeps going out. I've had the housing and wire harness replaced (under wrrenty) and it went out again. I now have to bring it back to the dealer.. has anyone resolved this issue , if so please help

Your car is still under warrenty? Doubt it. But it could be blowing the blinker becuse of voltage spikes or to high of a amp fuse in the fuse box for it. Or any number of things.

Put some gasket sealer under the socket before you install it. Mine kept blowing. It was from moisture building up inside. This cured it.

You doubt that my car is still under warrenty?.. I just said it was ! For about 26000 more miles or 3 more years.. I bought it in 2004 and got a great warrenty.. and it's paid off now.

Anyway.. I figure that the dealer already checked the fuse amp but I will do it myself.. I;ll also mention to them to put sealer around the socket.. Everything was replaced like I said but you never know..

Well it would help if you added a signature with your cars year, engine, tranny type, and majior mods. That way we know some of the basics about the car befor we trouble shoot.
