burnt wires (under dash)
Tried searching but didnt really find anything on these. The 4-wire plug on the lower brake pedal switch. seen lots of pictures of it telling people where it mounts or that the front 2-wire connector controls the brake lights but havnt really seen a solid answer on the 4wire. At least two of the wires were melted together really good from where they come out of the plug way up into the harness and possibly a third at one point. What do these go to? Everything seems to be working, cruise, all lights, trans is shifting normal. Have recently had problems with the ignition switch... again and replaced it and everythings working normal again with that, although the plugs for it were a little crispy, the wires look ok so I went ahead and hooked it up untill I can find a decent priced pigtail for that one. Back to my 4 wires in question, where do they run to and am I going to have to pull the dash to trace these things all the way up to check for more meltage. Im a little thrown off that everythings working even with melted wiring. Just dont like having bad wiring anywhere.
Edit- The blue and pink wire were melted together pretty good a ways up that I could see with my flashlight if that helps anybody.

The A (blue/black) goes to the PCM for TCC interrupt and also to the BTSI (Brake-Transmission Shift Interlock) solenoid.
The B (pink) is power feed from the gauges fuse.
C and D, I have not been able to verify completely. C might be the spoiler light, but the schematics say it should be yellow.

Thanks for the reply shoebox, sorry for taking so long to get back, been working alot and away from home. The TCC interrupt definately is doing its job, all the lights are working all the gauges I have hooked up are working (I run an autometer temp gauge so sender for dash temp gauge isnt hooked up) The only thing I dont know about is the shifter/brake interlock as it hasnt worked since I've owned the car. I did pull the burnt wires apart as far as I could see them melted up the harness when I put the new ignition switch in. Havnt smelled any more burning and everything seems to be in order, at least back to how it was before all this started. Any idea what could have caused that with everything else working or am I looking at the interlock solenoid in the console? Thanks for all the help, and as an off topic statement... I looked down last night and realized my Maro just turned 180,000 miles.... running better than ever and getting around 30mpg highway. guess I cant complain too much.
