to buy or not to buy

ok well i have recently found a wrecked 1998 z28 camaro its red with t tops, leather interior is mint, tires and stock rims are excellent the airbags are both gone, needs a front clip, windshield and some body work has a 100,000 miles on it and is automatic.....i got the guy down to $1500 what do u all think should i buy that thing and part it out ? need some advice thatnx

You could sell the engine/trans for MORE than that. And people are like white on rice when it comes to an F-body being parted out, especially in for sale forums like this one. IMO it's a good deal, you just need to make sure you've got the space for it for the time being and a way to transport what's left out to a junk yard when you're done.

Buy it. 2k and you can get it looking great again (figuring you do all the work yourself and fine red body parts which isn't to hard)
