Buying another LS1 Hawk

A few years ago I had a 99 Hawk and am going to buy another within 6 mths (spring) to a year. When I had mine, parts and understanding of the LS1 was just scratching the surface of whats avail today.

Since these SLP cars are rare, I want to only mod it with SLP parts preferrably. My questions are;
What are the opinions on SLP parts besides price?
Can someone tell me a good mild cam, and what is the TR224? and who makes it, specs and stuff-hear alot of LS1's runnin them. I do however want a blower and really am leaning towards the roots style that has the parralell shaft with the pulley outback and air inlet in front but running of the drive belt. Who makes that and how good in opinion is it versus a centifugal??
If I go centrifugal, I'll go Vortech with the after cooler.

This setup needs to be daily driven for a few years till a second car is brought in. What combos can you fellas come up with to keep up with or beat a lightly modded 405HP Z06?????

I live about 3-4hrs from Agostino Racing engines, and plan on getting to know him and his business very well for tuning and parts, any opinions on this????

I appreciate your time and I can't wait to get back in that oh so good saddle and rip those 6 gears again!

The TR224 is a Thunder Racing cam, hence the "TR". It's a great mild/medium cam for daily driving on.

slp makes an ls-6 intake, headers, heads/cam packages, etc. the TR224 is a more streetable cam from thunderracing. makes big power without driveability issues.

Anyone know what power the TR224 makes with the stock heads?

I will probably be selling my hawk come spring. If you like rare, then you will like mine. It's a 2001 10th Anniversary Firehawk of which, they only made 139. I have car #30. It has the 6-speed, Bilstein suspension, and Auburn rear. As of right now it has only 16,000 miles. I am looking to get either a new C6 or a late model Z06. Anyway, don't forget about me come spring. Look in the sig for pics.
