Bye-Bye Formula ? ? ?

Re: Bye-Bye Formula ? ? ?
I am also past 70, and I know what you mean about getting underneath the car. Getting close to time to change the oil in my Formula, and the last time I changed it, I had a bit of a problem getting off the creeper. I need to do some work on my '69 Road Runner, as it is just sitting in the drive, rusting away, but I can't get down low like I was once able to. Before anyone asks, it's not a Hemi, just a 383 that's had a bit of work done to it.

I'm "only" 53 and I have difficulty getting in and out of my car. Lowering it probably didn't help. I probably enjoy driving it more now than when I bought it at age 27-28, but the fact it sat for almost 20 years probably has something to do with that. Working on it can be a pain and the last time I drove it the driver's side window had an "incident". It went down, but it didn't go up. The motor is new, but the window is now out of kilter. The front is lower than the rear and it's binding. I'm imagining worst case scenarios. Even a best case scenario will likely be a pain to deal with.
It's gonna suck when there isn't anyone around that knows what they're talking about. Us young'uns might end up trying to solder on a 3rd gen intake manifold.

And Atco is in “south” NJ, which is somewhat sparsely populated compared to “north” NJ, and “central” NJ, where I live (near E-town). The closer you get to NYC, the worse it gets.
