What caused the midproduction change in A/C pumps for 1994 camaro Z28 LT1? Trying to get the right pump but need to know what to look for to find out which is needed.

This forum “Site Help & Suggestions” is for dealing with site problems - passwords, bugs, upload problems, etc. Not the best place for a “tech” question. I'll move your question to a more appropriate forum.

Haven't heard of an A/C compressor changeover in 1994 model year, but they did modify the cooling fan strategy mid-year. My 94, purchased new, is a late model year production. Let's see is someone else is familiar with this issue.

The parts manual shows the LT1 and L32 engines used different compressors in 1993. In 1994, the LT1 engine used the same compressor as the 1993 and 1994 L32 engines. This compressor also was used in the 1995 and 1996 model years for both engines.
