a/c curse fuse blows
i have a 98 z28 the ac curse fuse blows after i drive it some where and turn the car off and then start it again. the fuse doesn't blow if the weather is cool and i start the car. if it is very hot out and start the car it blows. i can put a new fuse in in the morning while its cool outside and run it 40+ miles and fuse never blows until i turn the car off and then restart it. i can let the car sit for hours and then put a new fuse in and then start the car again and it blows.
this is very frustating seeing that i have replaced the compressor and the relay (thinking the clutch was shorting it out). I put a 10amp fuse link between compressor and power source, but it didn't blow the 15amp in the fuse pannel blew. do you think it might be the control head? or what else is there to check. there has been no mods that would interfere with the wireing (all wires are still in the housing tubes). please help!
