a/c exploded, need part#'s

i have the 93 - 02 camaro parts manual in PDF form (the 1395 page one) but the part that broke doesn't look like the one in the parts manual.

the part i'm looking for is the A/C metal hard line that goes from the top of the radiator all the way back to the firewall. this metal hard line runs past the battery and has a rubber cover over it in that area.

the one in the parts manual i have seems to have the A/C pressure sensor where the tire valve looking thing is on my stock piece, and my stock piece has this sensor up more torwards the firewall near where a shock tower brace would be.

It looks like GM PART # 10276554 that is shown on the 95-97 3.8 V6 engines. Was your car originally a V6?

Yeah, I guess that would help. I was assuming LT1.

GM PART # 10282758 looks like the part. It's the same on the LS1 and 3.8 V6.

Where did you get a parts manual in PDF format?

Re: a/c exploded, need part#'s

guy at the parts desk claimed that the diagram was wrong but the part# was correct.

62 bucks out the door special ordered ... bah! oh well, at least i'll be able to easilly return it if its not the right piece.

Re: a/c exploded, need part#'s

Sometimes the diagrams are not "anatomically" correct or the representation vague. There may be changes in production pieces, but the manual is not going to be reprinted.
