A/C and Heater Problem?

A/C and Heater Problem?
Well going down the road the other day I noticed my feet getting hot, but my body not. So I check the heater and it's off, so I put my window down for a few. Put the window back up and a little later my feet are hot again. I put my hand down there and I feel heat coming from the vent. Strangely though, I turn the Cold/Hot nozzle on the heater panel to cold and it blows out cool air...
Can I get a possible explanation, please?

Re: A/C and Heater Problem?
Hard to guess without some info about the year of the car, but if its a 4th Gen the flapper doors that switch between heat/cold, and AC/heater are vacuum controlled. Either you've lost the vacuum to the flapper doors, or the actuator on the door is bad. Then again, if its a 1st Gen, it might be slipping actuator cables......

Re: A/C and Heater Problem?
There is always some air that flows through, even when the blower is off (when the car is in forward motion). If the temp **** is on the hot side, then it will be hot air. If you switch the **** to cool, then it will be cool.
