A/C help!!

Just want to know if anyone is good with A/C? Mine won't turn on the normal way. I can jump the relay and it kicks in the compressor and blows cold. With the relay in, no joy. The relay checked good, the pressure sensor is new, the charge is good, the on/off switch in the dash is good, the 5volt sensor voltage is present. The only thing I have not gotten into is the evaporator. The guy at the shop said it was an electrical thing? Not sure what he meant, but he did say big $$. I find that hard to believe. Anyone else have this problem or know a fix before I start flashing my PCM and replace everything under the paint job.

PS I live in Florida and it is hot!! Thanks guys.

Re: A/C help!!

-------------------------UPDATE-----------------------------

On a long shot and after reading the schematics for the A/C, I reprogrammed my PCM to stock. Seems to have been the problem. Not sure why. My only (uneducated) guess would be that Hypertech backs up the entire flash and not just the performance parameters. If anyone can confirm this right or wrong, please post. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem in the future.
