Arrow A/C help !997 Z-28

I am automotive repair shop, not an A/C shop. (( If i was I am sure I would have made a killin on the 24 people who called just over the weekend )) Lol.. ANYWAY.. My Compressor went out.. That car has been setting up for about 3 years.. I just put the new motor in.. Now I cant get the A/C to work.. I Bought a new compressor and it was shipped with a little oil in it.. But I went ahead and added 8oz of PAG150.. The salesman at the parts store told me to just pick a line, break it free and pour the entire bottle in.. So I did just that with the car turned off.. about 2 hours later I started it up and began to ad the first can of 134A.. It wouldnt even take the whole can before the gauges were in the red.. It must not be circulating.. I have looked at alot of threads on here, but no luck.. I have seen to replace the orifice tube pop up alot.. But I have no clue where to look for it, Or how to get it out?? Anyone have a pic?? I am lost on this.. One more thing.. Can I jump the compressor and force it to pump?? Would that be a bad idea??? Thanks guys..

Did you use a vacuum pump to remove all the air and moisture from the system before adding the freon?

If there is a trouble code for low a/c pressure, the PCM will not allow the compressor to function. Therefore, it will not suck in any refrigerant. Check for a P0530 or 31 and clear it if present. Like Fred said, the system should be fully vacuumed out before refilling. That's why we have a/c shops.
