Just a general question about plating. Will it work? How will it hold up? don't know where else to post this quesiton.

yes.....most wheels that are chrome are aluminum. I had most all of my bike chromed, Its very expensive

 

you can as was stated but it is expinsive. have you thought about polishing. its alot cheaper but alot more up keep. you can buy a three step sealer and it will keep it from water spots and so on, but its a pain to put on. if the polisher does a "show" polish it will look like chrome.

 

Clear coat will eliminate the upkeep/maintenance on polished aluminum.

 

So will Zoop seal

 

If I do a general internet search for clearcoats and sealers, I take it I will come up with a lot of them. And as most are assuming, yes this is for my wheels.

Do any of you recomend a good sealer or clearcoat? I see one for Zoop. Is there an all in one kit I can use for the entire process.
