Re: Car got keyd help.
No problem - I had someone key my car a couple summers ago between a fair bit of effort, rubbing compound, finishing compound, colour match wax and jet glaze it cleaned up nicely
you could still find the mark if you were looking for it, but hard to notice otherwise

Yea the only thing I forgot to do was take the wax off before I put the paint on.
O well when the car gets repainted I will just have to make sure that the part of the car gets sanded good.
Yea I know what you mean my eye was drawn right to the mark before I put the paint on it and now from a distance it's gone but you can see close up.
That's all I wanted for now.
The worst part was I know the little kid that did it and I have no proof of it and I know his mom makes enough money to fix it.
Just made me mad that he would not come clean to me about to.
He's a little kid I wanted to give him a swift kick in the butt.
But I can't he's just a kid with problems.
Kids got some mental problems has to take pills.
But I am away from his neck of the woods.
Thanks agine,

Re: Car got keyd help.
Sorry about the keying. Mequiars ScratchX and a good clean 100% cotton cloth will feather the rough paint edges away. By the way where did you get keyed?? So I make sure I never go there.

St Andrews.
I got some turtle wax rubbing compound today.
So if that does not do the trick I'll try the Mequiars ScratchX.
Thanks for the info.
