Car has been sitting for 2yrs with gas in the tank

how do I get the gas out of the tank? Will there be a lot of trash in the bottom of the tank even after the gas is out?

Thanks,
Brent

siphon out the low grade turpentine, and you should be fine.

I agree. My car sat for 2years and I just siphoned out the old gas, and everything is fine with mine

how would gunk get in the tank??

you could also just pull the fuel filter and let the pump do the work.

fill it up with good gas, maybe throw some "dri-gas" in it just in case there is a bit of condensation in it.

Thats probably the easiest way since you should probably go ahead and change the filter too.
