Convertible top linkage

I provided a diagram of the convertible top in my 94 Z28. I'm trying to replace the curved arm, #9, but it connects to #7 and I can't figure out how it comes off. If anyone has done this before or has a clue, please let me know! (Btw, please ignore the circled #11, it means nothing)

Re: Convertible top linkage

If I remeber right, there is aclip that sits around the base of where it connects, and you pull the clip off with a pair of needlenose, then just pull the curved piece straight out. It is kind of like a horseshoe around the base of where they connect.

Sorry if I'm wrong, that's just what I remember seeing.
