Cruise control not working, Help

I went to use my cruise yesterday and nothing. First thought was a fuse. Checked all fuses and all good. Any ideas???

Someone told me that the 3rd break light is tied in with the CC some how and if that light burns out then the CC wont work. Sounds crazy but it wont cost you a thing to check.
