Defogger Switch

Has anyone deleted their rear defogger and used the switch for something else like to turn on/off fans, line-lock, or nitrous?

Don't have my rear defogger anymore and would like to use that button for something.

Re: Defogger Switch

Not sure for certain but the rear defogger switch might be a specialized switch as it automatically turns off the defogger after 15 minutes. Not sure if the switch performs the timing or the Body Control Module.

Re: Defogger Switch

I used the small 12 volt hot wire and the light to install my trans temp guage.
you can use the hole with another switch but if I remember correctly there is a little circuit board in the switch to turn it off after a set time.

Delete your foglights and use that as your fan switch. I was thinkin of doing this with my tranny cooler fan.
