Density Altitude

What would be considered a decent density altitude....??? For this time of year ....Its curruntly 1400 here now and was wanting to race ....I know its not the greatest DA but for this time of year its not bad.....What do you guys think???

1400 really isn't all that bad. I sit at 5300 ft., but the DA is quite often at 7000-8000 ft. The closer to sea level you can get is the best.
