Diff between Conv. and Non Conv. Floormats?
I noticed on the slponline site that they have different listings for Convertible floormats and coupe floormats. Can anyone explain the difference between the two? Are they cut differently? SLP has the same pic for both products. Thanks!

I've never heard about that before. I have the original floormats in my convertible, and they are exactly the same as the factory floormats I had in my old hardtop. In fact, the interiors are exactly the same, seats, carpet, dash, doors and all. The only differences are in the trunk and the trim panels in the back seat.
Why not call them(SLP) and ask?

I believe the convertibles actually have completely different floorpans from the hardtops, but the differences are only in the back half. I'm sure the floormats aren't different, though.

The floor mats should be the same. But ill be able to confirm this or not in a week or so when i get my new carpet and mats.
As far as i know the differences start at the upper portion on the back seats.

I asked this same question at the one and only SLP Customer Appreciate Day held here in Orlando a few years ago. The mat is cut a little more narrow towards the seats to accomodate the the larger support in the floor pan, primarily on the passenger side. They said it's not that the coupe mats won't fit, but the vert mats are designed to fit better.

Im still finishing up installing the carpet. I have carpet from a hard to that im putting in the vert. I havnt had any problems with the floor pan being different, the mats will fit.
