I need to get or find a way to fix the driver's side power window. The part that is attacked to the window has broken and the window will not go up correctly. Have looks for a replacement but no luck so far. Any ideas?

Oh boy! I had the similar problem lately and it is very difficult to fix, maybe impossible for most people. I used a welder to fix it in place. It sounds like the guide bolt at the rear of the window bracket has broken loose. As far as I know there is no replacement available except a salvage yard. Post a photo of the problem so I don't go down the wrong road with this.

 

That is exactly what the problem is with my window. The shop that I take the car for repairs tried welding one in place but that broke also. We think we have found a full window that can be purchased and the shop is checking it out. Hope this works.
