Well, the Northstar Camaro Club had its anual Dyno Day at St. Paul Auto here in Minnesota, and for the first time ever, I had my car on the rack! I am quite happy. As you can see from my sig I dont have a whole lot in it, and I was quite impressed anyhow.

Not bad, I had my car dynoed today also. I put down 290/308 without the CAI, 3.73's and untuned hotcam. I'm sending Ion my pcm and then I'll see what it will put down.

like I had said, thats more or less a stock car, so i think thats not too bad. I would like to get a reprogram, but I have heard that is kind of useless untill you get headers, intake, and a cam. We had a guy with a 2002 SS 35th aniv. car, who had SLP catback, longtubes, LS6 intake, LS6 cam who pulled like 310, so I dont know where i am going to go next.. depends on the cost, but I think I would like intake, cam, reprogram, longtubes, and call it a day.. any opinions?

Im not any expert on LS1 because Ive got an lt1, but for the cost a tune should get you maybe 10 or so you maybe want to look at MadZs or PCMforless's site (tune will also get rid of that silly governor ) . headers are a good direction though (i think i saw a magiazine that got 25 out of shorties but dont quote me)

 

unfortunately we normally only have one dyno day per year, but we have plenty of car shows, plenty of cruises, plenty of tours, and that kind of thing! send me a private message, and i will give you my number for more information!

well i dont know aobut you wont be welcomed, but you might feel a little out of place.. it is a camaro club, after all. there is also minnesota f-body, but i dont know much about them..
