Easiest way to drain fuel? 93 Z28

Anyone have any ideas on what the easiest way to drain out some rotten fuel from a 93 Z28? Is there a drain plug on the gas tank? I thought about unhooking a fuel line from somewhere and turning the key on and let the fuel pump do all the work for me but I'm not sure of the best place to unhook a fuel line from where I can actually drain the fuel into a can and not all over the car/engine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If the fuel is "rotten" I'd cut the hole in the hatch, pop off the cover and siphon it out using a drill pump. Using the factory pump on old fuel can accelerate failure. You can try it if you want. There is a fuel pump prime connector in the engine bay where you can apply 12v+ and run the pump.

Then again I'd probably replace it anyway, so use option #1.

If you want to disconnect a fuel line, do it at the fuel filter, not in the engine compartment.

I've had good luck siphoning the fuel out of the tank.] via the fill neck.

What's "rotten" about the fuel?
