Electric Cutout

(edit: I might add that your everyday computer speakers are not capable of reproducing the loudness, and bass of the exhaust)
e-cutout open with a 2OTL exhaust... before I even had my CAI
I LOVE my DMH. By far the best 230 (includes weld-in) ive spent on the car. I saw a slight hp increase at higher rpms (might be psychological though). I love being able to go from mirror blurring loud, to stealth mode and anywhere in between in 2 seconds. Was out cruising in my car yesterday... a guy in a hemi ram revved at me all smily... and I opened the cutout and threw one back... he just gave me the finger.
pics are toward the bottom of the second page of the site in my sig... oh yeah, pretty easy to do mod.

Cutouts work really good if they are quality pieces, but since they are part of the hot exhaust they are vulnerable to failure. Electronics and high heat don't always mix.
Maybe someone knows of a way to disspitate some of that heat? I dunno if it could be done but someone might know how.

Re: Electric Cutout
The only problem you will have with the electric cutout, is that you live in California. They are not CARB approved and they are illegal. You will certainly fail the visual inspection.
